Drawing as formal artistic creation might be defined as the primarily linear rendition of objects in the visible world, as well as of concepts, thoughts, attitudes, emotions, and fantasies given visual form, of symbols and even of abstract forms (Encyclopedia Britannica, n.d.)

Some useful tips for you to produce a good drawing is as shown in the images above. The images above is an attempt by an artist to create a digital drawing through drawing apps – Autodesk Sketch. Whatever tool you use, the basic elements of arts such as line, shape, form, color and, texture need to be applied by considering its quality and spontaneity. You need to be as free as you can in exploring the basic elements of art that represent the subject matter you selected.

Secondly, from my point of view, observe the basic elements of art on the subject matter. Example, the leaf, observe the lines quality (thickness and thinness) and patches of colors on the leaf then you can start your drawing, as for me I am not looking at the leaf, but I’m looking at the lines and colors on the leaf.
